Ana, our kennel attendant is holding "Yana" a cute Shiba Inu. The Shiba Inu breed originates from Japan and looks like an Akita only much smaller. Adult Shiba Inus range from 15 - 20 lbs. This breed is cautious around strangers but very dedicated and loyal to its family. One of their traits is that they are fastidiously clean - licking their legs and paws somewhat like at cat!
