"Kitten" who has been recently diagnosed with diabetes is boarding with us and loves to peek out from her "hoody." Cats are unique in that their diabetes can go into remission. Complications from pancreatitis, obesity and certain medications can cause diabetes. Improvements in these conditions may normalize the blood sugar. Kitten is so sweet - she does not mind getting her twice daily insulin injections. ♥
